The month of March has been an incredible time of year so far in 2024. Along with the time change and the warming weather, the waves have seemed to be pretty consistent as swells have been pulsing regularly through north Florida. There has been a nice balance of ocean therapy and getting new projects rolling at Southern Edge Studios.
Now that spring has sprung, we decided to do some spring cleaning to our website to enhancing the overall user experience. Within our online shop, we have revamped the shop to make it even easier to order your favorite canvas, metal or framed print. We have also added the following new products:
Photo print: select the photo of your choice from the online gallery or any photo on Instagram to have printed in a 5x7, 8x10, or 11x14 on high gloss premium paper with ultra-detailed image resolution and vibrant colors.
Digital print: a link will be sent via email to download the high resolution file.
Special event photography packages: customized for your needs for special events, weddings, family parties, etc.
Picture editing services: we can update your favorite photographs and videos with color & light enhancements, spot removal, social media and marketing digital creation and many other options.
Another exciting milestone is the one year anniversary from when Cultivating Abundance: A Guide to Edible Ecosystems published. Thinking about the mild winters here in Florida compared to other parts of the country, it's already time for spring gardens. If you have a desire to grow your own food, plant flower gardens or fruit orchards and learn best practices for managing your property (small or large), you can pick up a copy of this book and get started cultivating your green thumb.
Overall, it has been such an amazing year since we relocated to Fernandina Beach. We have enjoyed this area so much that we decided to buy a house and stay for a while. We plan to cultivate the small piece of land around the house with gardens and an edible food forest as well as natural play space for the kids. We are in the planning stages for setting up workshops to teach and share our knowledge about how to cultivate your land into an edible landscape to help supplement your family with nutritious foods. We can’t wait to be permanent residents of Amelia Island.
