New Collection Release: Halluci-Nature

Happy Halloween to all our Inner Circle subscribers! It’s been a bustling month here at Southern Edge Studios. As the days grow shorter, we often find ourselves racing against the clock to tackle our to-do lists. However, this seasonal change gives us the chance to slow down, connect with family, organize our photo files, and network within our community. We’ve worked on some exciting projects this past month, and we can’t wait to share the news with all of you!

This past month has been busy with photography gigs! We kicked things off by providing photography services for an HVAC company hosting an annual summit in St. Augustine, which was a fantastic experience. Then, we had an amazing sunrise Halloween photoshoot with Joe Perry of Wavy Blends Barbering. Joe rocked his Halloween costume while catching some great waves here on Amelia Island, and we staged an intriguing crime scene that we photographed under the pier. We also had the pleasure of shooting a beach session with a client showcasing his new surfboard, combining a professional vibe perfect for updating his website. To top it all off, we've been enjoying a consistent swell in the ocean, allowing me to capture some incredible surf sessions throughout the month.

Just this past week, we connected with the Mocama Brewery in Fernandina Beach, and are excited to share they’ll be showcasing a variety of photographic art pieces from our newly released collection titled “Halluci-Nature.” This series features captivating images, including underwater shots looking up through a tree canopy, stunning reflections off the water’s surface, and long exposure captures from the beach shoreline. Mocama has chosen to feature six pieces from this collection, which will be available for purchase at their location and on our website.

October is one of our favorite months, especially when it comes to lighting. The sunrises and sunsets are nothing short of magical, showcasing spectacular colors that inspire creativity. As you are starting to prepare for 2025, be sure to grab one of our limited edition Waves of Amelia Island Calendars before they run out. You can purchase them online or pick one up at Amelia Surf Company or Driftwood Surf Shop here on Amelia Island.
