Hello and Happy Halloween! It’s hard to believe that October is almost over and there are only two months left in 2023. This year has been a whirlwind with the personal and professional changes including our move to Fernandina Beach and the rebranding from Southern Edge Agroforestry to Southern Edge Studios. We felt a call to action by our Higher Power and we answered that for our family and business and it has been smooth and seamless. It’s hard to hear those calls sometimes when there are so many distractions around us throughout the day and in our lives. Amazing things are happening right now with our family and the Southern Edge Studios business unit.
Since we have moved to Amelia Island, our kids have started a new school and have adapted very well and love the new change of pace, meeting new friends and learning from new teachers. They basically outsmarted me while I was homeschooling them in Mayo, and Angela and I recognized that we needed a change of pace to accommodate their growth needs. We are blessed to be able to have these opportunities in our life and I am especially blessed with an amazing mother and two precious children.
As for Southern Edge Studios, the business is moving right along and growing in all aspects. One of the most exciting new developments has been the new presence in the Coastal Camden Art League- Community Art Center located in St. Mary’s, GA. I have some awesome prints available for sale in the main hallway. You can find canvas, metal and framed prints, as well as hats and books. I encourage you all to go check it out and see all the other wonderful artists that have their work on display. They also have paint classes for children, adults, and veterans. I guarantee that you will not be disappointed with a visit to this art gallery.
